Hello Everyone!

It is a great honour for both of us to be appointed to the positions of Faculty Navigator for this next term! We are following in the foot steps of other amazing colleagues.

 

Some central perspectives/concepts that underpin this role are appreciative inquiry, reflective practice with mindfulness and seeing the educator as co-creator of the learning experiences with our students.

 

We will be providing mentorship and guidance for new continuous, sessional and part-time faculty in either theory, lab or clinical settings. This means visits to those respective colleagues as needed plus some casual drop in to clinical sites, both done on a weekly basis. We will also maintain the monthly community of practice meetings.
